Funny and bizarre toilets around the world are constantly being invented and created to make this moment of privacy a little more joyful.
1. The Vertebrae
The Vertebrae is the brainchild of award-winning designer Paul Hernon, of Huddersfield, who created it with small apartments in mind.
This super compact bathroom unit has special features that spin out from the center as you need them.
The Vertebrae includes toilet, sink, shower and storage units, all of which are connected in a central column, hence the name of the invention.
The entire unit occupies an area of less than 1 square meter and it’s the designer’s dream to see his invention installed as apartment toilets around the world.
2. Glass Walled Public Urinals
A “transparent toilet” turned lure in Changsha, in Hunan province, China. This public bathroom with glass walls was built next to Shiyan Lake, in an area with plenty of vegetation.
The glass walls allow anyone to see who is using the toilet.
On the first day, several people went to see the novelty, but they avoided “testing” the urinals.
3. Video Gaming Urinals
British company Captive Media thinks it has developed a product that fills the gap in the market – a urinal mounted, urine-controlled games console for men.
The device sits above a standard urinal bowl where users are presented with three generous targets to aim for as they go.
Symbols in the unit read “Start,” “Left,” and “Right.” and the urinal can detect which one you are peeing at using a special infrared device.
Once players have finished their business, they can post their scores to Twitter and a live leader board. Would you guys just love to use these toilets around the world?
